Concession Master Plan
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) is reimagining concessions in Terminals A & B, creating modern, visually engaging spaces that showcase Central Florida hospitality, along with national brand favorites, to position Orlando International Airport (MCO) as a destination in itself.
PROJECT TIMELINE: Planning and construction preparations are currently underway, with phased openings scheduled for Summer 2026 – Late 2028.
BACKGROUND
On December 11, 2024, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Board approved Phase 1 of the Concession Master Plan, bringing more than 40 new retail and dining options to Orlando International Airport (MCO). The program will continue to expand with even more shops and restaurants through Phases 2 and 3.
The Concession Master Plan takes a holistic approach, balancing national brands with local favorites, healthier dining choices, and experiences that reflect Central Florida’s character. From legacy Orlando restaurants to innovative new concepts, travelers can shop, sip, and dine in spaces designed to be modern, welcoming, and memorable.
The plan supports GOAA’s Strategic Mission to “seamlessly connect Central Florida and the world through exceptional experiences, collaboration, and creativity,” while advancing the goal of making MCO a hub for transportation, commerce, and entertainment. By encouraging small business participation, it fosters both passenger delight and regional economic growth.
Notable Central Florida retail brands guests will be able to visit include Adjectives, The House on Lang, Writer’s Block, and Orange Appeal.
In addition to nationally recognized retailers and restaurants, MCO visitors will be able to enjoy the best dishes from landmark Central Florida restaurants.
Collectively, the three phases of the Concession Master Plan will redevelop more than 200,000 square feet of guest space, where travelers can shop, sip, and dine in spaces designed to be modern, welcoming, and memorable.
